OUR TEAM

The Taylor Room Committee

We are a small talented team with a wide range of skills and experience. We love what we do, and we do it with passion. We look forward to working with you. There are 4 committee members supported by an administrator. See below.

Alan Keyte

Chairman

My 36 years experience in the Financial Services and Transport Operations sectors of major businesses provides me with a wide range of skills gained in logistics, sales and management at senior levels. Now that I have semi-retired I want to put something back and as you see I am Chairman of the Committee which manages the Taylor Rooms and I am also an active director of Frinton Golf Club. I really do like making a difference.

Tad Bojanczyk

Secretary

I arrived in England as an 11 years old, not knowing a word of English, on 11th April 1957 from a polish refugee camp in Germany and have lived here ever since. I went to school and spent 4 years at college achieving an HND degree in building. I was a member of the building industry as a quantity surveyor for 40 years, finishing up in local government in charge of the maintenance department where I was involved in costing and estimating projects like crematoria, leisure centres and housing.

Terry Brown

Treasurer.

I’m a retired company director of one of the worlds largest textile companies which has given me a great insight in controlling finances and staff management.
I was a trustee of the Textile and Tailoring Association for many years and held the position of President for a year.
I have forty years of masonry under my belt, including being a Lodge treasurer for over twenty of those years. I have been investing the trust money including a fund left by one of our founders, which I am please to say has increased considerably under my direction.

Les Bargus

Building Manager

I gained my experience in the retail sector, from the age of 13 as a butcher’s boy before moving on to Sainsbury’s which gave me a platform on service delivery and finally moving into the Vending Industry as Operations Manager in central London for almost 20 years. I then had the opportunity to purchase a run-down Bed & Breakfast in Clacton on Sea and within 9 months we were No1 in service delivery on Trip Adviser. I personally thrive on seeing us delivering the expectations of our Clients and Members at Taylor Rooms.
